This course was designed to teach surgeons about the very latest technique in cataract and lens surgery, where a femtosecond laser is used for great precision (femto-phako). Topics included: the learning curve, femtosecond versus manual phako, complex cases and new lens implants.

Live surgery using the Catalys femtosecond laser was a highlight of the day. Following excellent feedback another course is now planned in June 2015.
