Private Health Insurers
Mr Julian Stevens is recognised as a Consultant by many private health insurers. Recognition means the insurer will allow its members to access the services provided by Mr Stevens. However it does not guarantee that Mr Stevens’ fees will be fully reimbursed and you will still be responsible for any shortfall.
If you have private health insurance, you should check with your insurer the terms of your policy, and in particular you should check the level and type of outpatient cover you have. You are advised to do this prior to attending an initial consultation with Mr Stevens.
Please be advised that private health insurers do not cover laser refractive surgery or refractive lens surgery.
The insurers we most commonly deal with are listed here. If your insurer is not shown then please contact us.
BUPA & AXA PPP members
Please be advised that Mr Stevens no longer recognises BUPA (UK) and AXA PPP. BUPA global policies are unaffected. Please contact us to discuss the options available to BUPA & AXA PPP members wishing to have cataract surgery performed by Mr Stevens.
