After having the lenses removed from her eyes 28 years ago, Claire White, now 29, has had lens implant surgery to restore her sight. This was performed as an NHS procedure by Julian Stevens at Moorfields Eye Hospital. In the Hertfordshire Mercury, Claire said “It was definitely life-changing” and Mr Stevens described the results as “transformational”.
